Jets sign Knorr
Knorr, a 6-2 199-pound punter, spent the majority of the 2004 season with the Broncos before being released on December 9, 2004. In 12 games with Denver, Knorr averaged 41.5 yards on 54 punts and pinned 12 inside the opponents' 20 yardline. A 1998 graduate of Utah State, Knorr was originally signed by the Cowboys in 2000 after spending two years out of football. He played three years in Dallas before joining the Broncos in 2002. In his six-year career, Knorr has averaged 41.4 yards per punt.
