Putzier trade talks stall

After the Denver Broncos matched the Jets 5-year, $12.5 million offer sheet for tight end Jeb Putzier on Thursday, the teams talked trade.<p>

But the two teams couldn't come together on an agreement, so it looks like the tight end is staying in Denver.

According to an NFL source, the deal breaker was the Broncos demand for a second round pick for the tight end. The Jets were willing to give up a fifth rounder.

Now the Jets might turn their attention to free agent tight end Ken Dilger (Tampa Bay).
