Andre Dyson update

With the possible retirement of cornerback Donnie Abraham, the Jets could use another starting quality cornerback.<p>

They recently had free agent cornerback Andre Dyson (Tennessee Titans) in for a visit.

According to an NFL source, the Jets made him an offer, and he is mulling it over.

"It's up to him, he has an offer," said the source. "He has to decide what he wants to do."

Dyson reportedly also has offers from both the Titans and Seattle Seahawks.

Dyson is undersized, but has great speed, and would give the Jets secondary the man-to-man cornerback they desperately need. He is very athletic and has a terrific burst.

There is a good chance the Jets will pick a cornerback with one of their two second round picks. Stanford's Stanley Wilson is a player they will consider.
