Jets steal Miller in second round

The skinny on Justin Miller:

CLEMSON junior cornerback/return man JUSTIN MILLER... had a late-first round grade from many, including the Jets... but recent issues involving his interviews and an off-field incident that saw him get charged with disturbing the peace likely caused him to slide to the late second round... Coach Herman Edwards loves to work with guys that have very good talent, but might be a little immature or need guidance... he offers them a possible upgrade if Donnie Abraham retires, as Derrick Strait could move into the starting lineup... at worst he could be the team's nickel or dime as a rookie and contribute on all special teams... very good return man who has impressive straight line speed and vision as a returner... strong for his size... does not mind throwing his helmet into the mix... good cover skills... makes plays on the ball... finds his way to be around the ball... if he can get his act together and stay out of trouble this is a possible steal... is an excellent value choice, since only a week ago he might have been taken by the team at pick #26...
