Help Cure Lupus

JETS TO WALK IN THIRD ANNUAL NEW JERSEY WALK WITH US TO CURE LUPUS WALKATHON

New York Jets' chairman and CEO Woody Johnson and honorary chair wide receiver Wayne Chrebet will be on hand to lead the New Jersey Walk with Us to Cure Lupus Walkathon on Saturday, June 18 at The Meadowlands.

One hundred percent of proceeds from the walkathon, which is expected to raise $500,000, will be used to fund medical research to prevent, treat and eventually cure lupus, a potentially fatal autoimmune disease that strikes predominantly young women.

The 5K (3.1 miles) walk begins at 10:00 a.m. and will be held rain or shine. There will be refreshments and entertainment along with Generation Jets Fest for all participants. For more information or to make a donation, log on to http://walk.lupusresearch.org.
