Martin downgraded - might not play

The Jets might be without Curtis Martin this Sunday when they play the Oakland Raiders.

He hasn't practiced all week, and was downgraded to questionable on Friday with a knee ailment. This injury has been bothering him all season.

If he can't play, Cedric Houston will get the start. He was one of the Jets two sixth round picks in the 2005 draft. B.J. Askew would also likely see action.

Jets coach Herman Edwards claims Martin's status for Sunday will be a game-time decision.
