NFL Europe Update: 

Kicking for the Berlin Thunder is Danny Boyd who is ranked third in NFL Europe with 33 points. 

Running back Marlion Jackson has helped his team, the Frankfurt Galaxy, to an NFL Europe best, 5-1 record rushing for 281 yards, which places him fifth in the league, a touchdown and 10 receptions for 92 yards and another score. 

Cornerback James Rooths is averaging 33.1 yards on seven kickoff returns as well as returning an interception 69-yards for a touchdown as a member of the Scottish Claymores.

Joining this trio in Europe are cornerback Todd Franz (Scottish Claymores), defensive end Riley Kleinhesselink, tight end David Newman and wide receiver Corey Alston, all with the Rhein Fire.


SZOTT GRADUATES FROM PENN STATE: Newly signed offensive guard Dave Szott completed his undergraduate degree from Penn State University on May 12.  The political science major finished his final course and despite foregoing graduation ceremonies, was thrilled with his accomplishment.

 "I made a promise to myself that I would finish my college education and I was able to get it done through Penn State's distance learning program," Szott said.
