He made a couple of real nice throws, including a 45-yard pass to wideout Laveranues Coles down the right sideline, and a 25-yard strike to running back B.J. Askew down the same sideline. The Askew completion was a tight spiral.
According to stat guru Randy Lange of the Bergen Record, Pennington was eight-for-eight passing on three straight drives.
While he still has a long way to go, on the first day of minicamp, Pennington certainly looked like he has a decent chance of overcoming the astronomical odds of returning from a twice repaired throwing shoulder.
