Jets sign last pick

"Jon is a guy we really feel good about," Terry Bradway said on draft day. "He's big, he's fast, he's smart, he played in a good program. One of the things we were looking for on defense was a chance to bring in a young safety. Jon fills that role."

The Jets signed second round draft pick Jon McGraw.

McGraw, a 6-3, 206-pound safety from Kansas State University was the 57th overall choice in the April NFL Draft.

McGraw is the last of the Jets' five draft choices to sign.  McGraw's signing marks the fifth consecutive year in which the Jets started training camp with all of their players under contract.  The 87 players on the Jets' roster report to camp today and will open practice Saturday, July 27 at 8:30 a.m. at the Jets' training complex at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY .
