Jets claim tight end Zach Hilton

The New York Jets announced they have claimed tight end Zachary Hilton off waivers from New Orleans and defensive lineman Rashad Moore off waivers from Oakland.

To make room on the roster, the Jets waived wide receiver Wallace Wright and defensive tackle Titus Adams.

Hilton, 6-8, 268, is entering his fourth season in the NFL out of the University of North Carolina. Last season, the former Saints' undrafted free agent, gained 396 yards on 35 receptions with one touchdown.

Moore, 6-3, 325, a former sixth-round selection by Seattle, is entering his third season in the NFL. In 2004, Moore notched career-highs in tackles with 46, sacks with two and fumble recoveries with three.
