Coles and Houston updates

Two key Jets offensive players were injured in their 31-28 loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

On the last play of the game, on the play the Jets attempted to lateral their way into the end zone, wide receiver Laveranues Coles was seen writhing in pain on the field after the sequence ended unsuccessfully.

While no Jets officials discussed the injury, it seems to be either a shoulder or arm ailment. The seriousness of the malady is unknown at this point.

In the third quarter, running back Cedric Houston blew out his left knee on a run around the Colts two-yard-line. While the team won't know anything until an MRI is done, it doesn't look good for the second-year runner out of Tennessee. He was carted off the field. There is speculation that it could be a hyper-extended knee, which wouldn't necessarily end his season.
