Both G Randy Thomas and LB Sam Cowart were back practicing this afternoon. For Cowart, it was the first time since he injured his hamstring on the first day of camp…When asked if there was extra urge for him to be ready for the season opener because it's in Buffalo against his former team, Cowart said, "It could be in Wisconsin. I don't care where it is, I just want to play football."…WR Ataveus Cash had a strong practice today, leading the receiving core in receptions…QB Vinny Testaverde had a nice practice as well, throwing a good looking post pattern downfield to FB Richie Anderson…Rookie S Jon McGraw is going to take over a lot of the special teams responsibilities, that were formally given to Chris Hayes. Hayes was released in the offseason, and signed with the New England Patriots…Herm Edwards had good things to say about Rookie G Jonathan Goodwin concerning Thursday's game. "He wasn't' shy and didn't have stage fright. He went in there and competed."
Cowart Finally Back!
