Chad Pennington's post-game presser

Q)What are your thoughts on the call at the end on the Chris Baker catch?

Pennington: When you're on the road you can't let the referees decide the game. We left a lot of plays out on the field that we didn't execute. I didn't make enough plays as a quarterback to put us in a position to win.

Q)Why couldn't the offense get an rythym going?

Pennington: I just didn't get the ball to my playmakers today. I didn't throw the ball well enough to help us win. I felt really good about our preparation this week. We had a good week of practice. It just boils down to not executing in the passing game.

Q)The first interception was on a tipped ball, what happened on the second one?

Pennington: They were bringing pressure and I was trying to throw it early and the ball ended up coming out poorly. I actually turned WR Justin McCareins loose and I was just trying to throw before the pressure got there.

Q)Why weren't you guys able to move the ball very well after the first drive?

Pennington: We felt good about our first drive and it felt like we were on the right track. We were doing some good things offensively the whole first half. We just didn't finish it. We didn't make plays to keep drives going and to put points on the board. This week we have to take a look at that and give ourselves a chance to win.
