Jets claim offensive tackle

Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum continues to work the waiver wire.

On Wednesday, he waived tight end Zach Hilton, who has been active for just one game this year, and claimed offensive tackle Na'Shan Goddard.

Goddard is a rookie free agent out of South Carolina, who was released by the New York Giants this week. He is 6-5, 315 pounds.

It had to be very frustrating for Hilton, who never got a chance to show what he could do prior to being released. In the one game he was active, he didn't play.
