Jets extend deal with ESPN Radio

The New York Jets and 1050 ESPN Radio today announced the extension of their unique broadcast partnership.

After three seasons on 1050 ESPN and 77 WABC Radio the Jets announced today that the partnership will continue for an additional two years through the 2008 season.

In addition to flagship 1050 ESPN Radio, Jets football play-by-play can be heard on 77 WABC, and six network stations from West Virginia to Albany, New York.

"Our partnership with one of the premiere sports brands, ESPN Radio, makes great business sense for the Jets and allows us the opportunity to be on two 50,000 watt radio stations," said Jets VP Robert "Bobby" Parent.

The partnership will continue with the Jets producing and selling the game advertising through a joint venture with 1050 ESPN Radio's Programming and Sales teams.
