Jets lose Titus Adams to the Giants

The New York Giants signed defensive end Titus Adams off the Jets practice squad. The Jets announced they have signed wide receiver Sloan Thomas and defensive end Darrell Adams to the practice squad.

Thomas, most recently on the Seattle Seahawks' practice squad, is in his second stint with the Jets this season. He appeared in one NFL regular season game for Tennessee in 2005 on special teams. The former University of Texas wide receiver was originally drafted by Houston in the seventh round of the 2004 draft. He is a native of Clarksville, TN.

Darrell Adams, originally signed by the Jets as an undrafted free agent on May 12, went through training camp with the team before being waived Sept. 2. A native of Islip, NY, Adams was an all-conference defensive end at Villanova University.
