Laveranues Coles update

Jets star wide receiver Laveranues Coles was injured in the fourth quarter.

After an interception by Viking linebacker Napolean Harris on a pass intended for Coles, the wide receiver was leveled by linebacker Ben Leber.

Coles suffered a back injury, and was down for several minutes. After the game, he went for an MRI, and the Jets got some good news. While he's very sore, he didn't suffer a serious injury.

The extremely tough Coles should be ready to play next week against the Miami Dolphins.

Coles lit up the Viking secondary with 12 catches, 144 yards and a touchdown, in the Jets 26-13 win in the Hubert H. Humphrey Metrodome. The Jets are now 8-6.
