Abraham Looking Good

DE John Abraham went full speed in practice today and started in the scrimmages.

Although the Jets said they would evaluate Abraham this week before making any decisions, he certainly looks healthy enough to play in Buffalo this Sunday… CB Jamie Henderson was working out on the sideline during practice today, and no longer needs to wear a harness for his shoulder… Tory Woodbury continues to look good in practice as the 5th wide receiver…WR Kevin Swayne had the play of the day, making a terrific leaping catch between S Jon McGraw and CB Ray Mickens. After the play Bill Bradley went over and spoke to both of the defensive backs… QB Chad Pennington was picked off twice in practice today, first by Mickens, then by CB Donnie Abraham.

In his press conference this morning Herm Edwards was in a jovial mood. He told the press of his adventures getting into the practice facility when his access code didn't work. Edwards climbed over a fence that was lined with barbed wire in order to get in. He had the media room rolling when he admitted to jumping the fence about four times since becoming head coach of the Jets. Edwards also took down the parking sign that was reserving his spot in the team's private lot and said he would park in the Hofstra University lot across the street, about 300-yards away.
