Two high-ranking Jets officials leave team

Two highly-placed Jets executives have stepped down over the last two weeks.

Vice Presidents Lee Stacey and Ron Colangelo are no longer with the club.

Stacey, who was the team's top marketing official for the last five years, resigned two weeks ago. Stacey did a great job of increasing the team's marketing revenue during his tenure. It's unclear why he stepped down. But he shouldn't be out of work long after improving the Jets ad sales by 500 percent.

Also leaving the organization after a five-year stint is the team's top publicist, Ron Colangelo. It's unclear why Colangelo is leaving the club. Until a replacement is found, his top assistant David Tratner will handle the job.

In other Jets front office news, the team is going to have a major announcement in the next few weeks regarding their website. According to an NFL source, a high-profile New York media member is going to take over the job of running
