It's no secret the Jets could use a tight end to compliment Chris Baker in the passing game. And they have their eye on one of the top tight end prospects in the draft.
The Jets have scheduled a visit for Delaware tight end Ben Patrick
to stop by Hempstead. Patrick, a Duke transfer, is considered by many experts to be the third best tight end in the draft behind Miami's Greg Olson and Arizona State's Zach Miller.
The 6-3, 275 pound Patrick, ran under 4.8 at the combine, and has very good athleticism for his size. He could be a second round consideration for the Jets. The Jets currently have two selections in Round Two.
