They were trying to put the 44-7 Patriots debacle behind them as soon as the game ended.
"It's only the second game," tight end Anthony Becht said. "We can't let the score get to us too much. We're a very resilient team and we will bounce back. It's way too early in the season to let one loss affect you."
"We've just got to bounce back with confidence," fullback Richie Anderson said. "We've got to fix some things."
"It was just their day," cornerback Ray Mickens said.
Patriots coach Bill Belichick wasn't totally happy with his team's dominant defense.
"There's always room for improvement," Belichick said of his defense that gave up just three receptions to Jets receivers.
The one Patriot player who relished this win the most was former Jets safety Victor Green. He had the play of the day when he picked off Vinny Testaverde and returned it 90 yards for a touchdown.
"It was very sweet to come back here and be able to win like that and be able to make a big play like I did," Green said. "It was a great feeling. I'm not going to try and down play it."
