Kendall hold-out continues

Agent Neil Schwartz told Jets Confidential's Bob Page in May that he couldn't talk about Pete Kendall's holdout. The other day, he opened up to the New York Post's Mark Cannizzaro. Maybe Schwartz wasn't a fan of Page on Sportsdesk.

"He's extremely frustrated and disappointed and unhappy over the economic status of his contract," Schwartz, told The Post on Friday. "It's easy. What we're asking for is extremely fair. It's not like we're asking for something that's unconscionable."

To the Jets you are, and it doesn't like they are going to give Kendall any more money. Kendall is scheduled to make $1.7 million this season, and for soon-to-be 34-year-old guard, the Jets brass thinks that is an appropriate salary.
