Herm Edwards said they will re-evaluate Robinson on Sunday, but that he expects McGraw will get the start.
"I think it's time for him to play, [and] he will take advantage of this opportunity. He has really studied hard this week and he knows what to do, so it will be fun to watch him play."
CB Jamie Henderson is questionable with his partially separated shoulder, but he is not expected to play. WR Laveranues Coles, and guards J.P. Machado and Randy Thomas are probable.
The Jets were focused in practice this week, and took Edwards' spirited lecture in Wednesday's team meeting to heart. Thought the team heads into Miami with an eight-game win streak against the Dolphins, it will be a big test for the Jets. The team will try to re-establish the running game that's been missing so far this season, but should still air it out against a banged-up Dolphins secondary. CB Patrick Surtain is still questionable for the game with a knee injury.
C Kevin Mawae and Dolphins LB Zach Thomas will be matched up once again on Sunday. With the way the Jets run the ball, Mawae is often in the space where he must put a block on the talented linebacker. Recent history shows Mawae has been successful at blocking Thomas, and the Jets have gotten the better of this match-up.
RB Curtis Martin is anxious to have a good game, but said it's more important that the team as a whole performs well against Miami. Martin will certainly be aware of Thomas during the game, and said it often feels like he shadows players, even if he isn't, because he's in on every play.
