Here are some Jets training camp sleepers

Here are some sleepers to keep an eye on at training camp. This is Part 1 of a three part series.

Defensive end Darrell Adams – the Bay Shore, Long Island-native and Villanova-product is looking more and more like a 3-4 end. After some time on the Jets practice squad last year, and following an off-season conditioning program, he now looks the part at about 6-5, 290. He could give the Jets some much-needed athleticism at backup defensive end.

Cornerback Alphonso Hodge – this former Kansas City Chief draft pick is a nicely built cornerback (5-10, 203), who runs fairly well. He had a pretty high grade coming out of Miami of Ohio, and has a chance to hang round.

Wide receiver Frisman Jackson – a nice sized receiver (6-3, 217), who spent a few years with the Cleveland Browns. He was a college quarterback at Western Illinois, who is still maturing as a wideout. If the Jets decide to trade Justin McCareins, he could take his place as the Jets big receiver.
