Kendall sounds off again

Q)Do you feel bitter at all towards this organization?

Kendall: Yeah, yeah I sure do. I have asked for my release again. I don't understand why I'm still here. I have clearly expressed that I don't want to be here. I'm running with the second team. It's devolved into a personal thing. I don't get that.

Q)Have you talked to Eric?

Kendall: We spoke and I told him, "I don't know what else to tell you except I don't want to be here anymore." I told Mike the same thing.

Q)What is their tact?

Kendall: You will have to ask them they would want a player here who doesn't want to be here. To me the writing is the wall based on where I'm taking my snaps. Somebody in the building must have thought they were pleasing Eric by putting me in the rookie dorm. Little things like that – come-on. It's comical to the point of absurd at this point.

Q)Is there anyway that this can be worked out contractually?

Kendall: Of course, there is always a chance. I have maintained from Day One, that is what I wanted to do. But it take two to tango. I don't have any hope of it being salvaged at this point. I'm not going to give money back at this point. So I am here. It is what it is.

Q)Do you expect to be released?

Kendall: I do expect to be released at some point. Every day it goes on, it will be harder for me to get any work.

Q)After all the work you did with Nick and Brick and all you have done for the organization, are you surprised that it has reached this point?

Kendall: I'm very surprised. I really am. Even the General Manager has acknowledged the request is reasonable. When the General Manager says it's not unreasonable, does there have to be an Exhibit B.

Q)Was it hard to put the uniform on and come out there?

Kendall: Yeah, it's hard. I don't expect to be here. I don't know why they are putting me out here with the second team. I'm just hoping to move on.
