Mike Tannenbaum on the Kendall trade

Q)What did you get in return for Pete Kendall from the Redskins?

Tannenbaum: I can't go into specifics except to say that we were pleased with the value we received from Washington.

Q)Did it take what the Redskins offered for you to pull the trigger on this trade?

Tannenbaum: I'm not going to comment on the specifics of trade talks we've had, or those from the past.

Q)What are your thoughts on all the accusations Kendall made about promises that weren't kept?

Tannenbaum: I don't want to get into the specifics. I think there is always two sides to every story.

Q)What about Pete's saying that you okayed a new deal, but he had to get Eric's approval?

Tannenbaum: I'm not going to comment on any specifics.

Q)Pete said Eric Mangini told him he was unhappy with this own contract. Your thoughts.

Tannenbaum: I wasn't part of that conversation, so it wouldn't be fair for me to comment. I talk to Eric quite a bit. All of my conversations with Eric remain private and anything that may have been said or may not have been said between Pete and Eric.
