Jets coach Eric Mangini was asked who his starting quarterback is going to be against the Titans. He wouldn't make a definitive announcement on Monday.
"We've got to see where Kellen is in terms of the injury (ribs)," said Mangini. "Kellen has done a lot of good things and there are a lot of things that he's still growing into and learning about with experience. That's common with any young player."
Mangini has said repeatedly he will play the players who give him the best chance to win on Sunday. How is a quarterback who is "still growing" and "learning" the signal-caller who gives him the best chance to win when he has a seasoned-veteran like Chad Pennington?
We will try to find out the answer to this on Wednesday.
