McFadden makes it official

It's official - Arkansas' sensational junior tailback Darren McFadden has entered the NFL draft. He made the announcement on Monday. But if the Jets are to consider him, Security guru Steve Yarnell is going to have to do some extensive research on his background.

While McFadden is an amazing talent, you have to wonder if the Jets would consider picking "Run DMC" considering their strict core values.

Last week McFadden was handcuffed outside a Little Rock piano bar. He was released without charges.

In the summer of 2006, he hurt his toe in a fight outside a nightclub.

While it's unfair to label McFadden "a bad guy" due to these two incidents, it will definitely make character-driven organizations like the Jets think twice before drafting him.

But honestly, it's very unlikely he will be on the board when the Jets select at six, so it's probably a moot point.
