After the first- ever open audition for the squad, 21 members were selected from an original pool of more than 250 applicants. Fans can visit newyorkjets.com to view slideshows and video of the finalists for the 22nd member spot before casting their vote.

The three finalists for the online vote are:

"Picking this year's squad was a very difficult decision," said Flight Crew director Denise Garvey. "We are really excited about the girls we chose and the three candidates in the online vote. I really want to encourage our fans to go to newyorkjets.com to vote and decide who should be the 22nd member of the team."

The first 21 members of the 2008 Jets Flight Crew consist of 7 returnees and 14 rookies. Returning members are Gina, Jennifer M., Laura V., Linda, Mandisa, Meredith, and Ryann.
