Favre happy with his first outing

Brett Favre played just two series in his Jets debut. His second drive ended with a touchdown pass to Dustin Keller.

"I would have loved to play some more," said Favre. "My arm feels great."

Favre felt fairly comfortable with calling protections being his biggest challenge.

"They threw a couple of protections at me that I had to do a double take on," said Favre.

Another big challenge is getting in a groove with his targets.

"I just need to get my timing down with these guys," said Favre.

Favre feels he's getting more comfortable each day with his new team and surroundings.

"I feel like I'm a Jet," said Favre.

But he knows that he still has a major chemistry test to pass with his new team.

"Having the most talent doesn't give you the best chance to win - it's about chemistry," said Favre.

Favre seemed a little shocked at the amount of reporters who attended his post-game press conference, considering it was a preseason game.

"Hopefully there will be less and less in this room as we go along," said Favre.

Not a chance.
