Coles and Woody longshots for Sunday

At this point, you would have to think the odds are against Laveranues Coles and Damien Woody playing against Kansas City on Sunday.

Coles has a concussion, and considering his history of concussion issues, it would be shocking if he suited up on Sunday. If he can't go, Chansi Stuckey would start, and there shouldn't be much of a drop-off. Stuckey is clearly a player on the rise.

Woody has a pulled calf muscle, and was limping badly after the Jets-Oakland game. He had to leave the field twice during the game because of this problem. Remember, this kind of injury kept Thomas Jones off the field for a month during the 2007 training camp. Now while it's hard to access the severity of the injury considering Mangini's clandestine approach to medical information, you would have to assume Woody's chances of playing on Sunday aren't great. The Jets are better off with a healthy Wayne Hunter than a gimpy Woody anyway.

Both Coles and Woody were held out of practice on Wednesday.
