They guys up front didn't do a lot of flashy stuff, but they did a workmanlike job.
Mike DeVito stopped LenDale White for a loss of one to end the Titans second possession.
Kris Jenkins tipped a pass to end a second quarter drive.
Bryan Thomas looked like a potential suspect in Ahmad Hall's fourth quarter touchdown reception. The fullback was wide open. Thomas seemed to lose some playing time in this game to Vernon Gholston. Gholston was somewhat quiet. The rookie is having trouble disengaging from blocks.
Eric Barton was second on the team in tackles with seven, including setting a good tone by stopping Johnson for no gain on his first carry.
The Jets revolving door at right cornerback continues. For what it's worth, it looked like David Barrett might have gotten the start in this game. Ty Law also played a lot. Dwight Lowery didn't play much because he suffered a leg injury.
Barrett had issues with Bo Scaithe. The tight end beat Barrett down the deep middle for potential big game, but dropped the ball. Late in the first half, Scaithe got by Barrett on a crossing route for a gain of 17 yards. Also late in the first half, Barrett was called for a pass interference while covering Scaithe.
Abram Elam had a solid game. Elam was involved in defensed passes on the first two plays of the Titans second drive. He also led the team in tackles and caused a third quarter fumble.
Before leaving the game, Poteat had a nice PD on Brandon Jones late in the first half.
Jones beat Hank Poteat for a gain of 23 in the fourth quarter.
Ty Law gave up a couple of 14 yard gains (Justin McCareins and Latrelle Hawkins) on a one third quarter drive.
But it wasn't a bad game for the secondary considering Kerry Collins had 18 incompletions.
Kind of a quiet game for the specialists.
Jay Feely made two short field goals.
Reggie Hodges had one punt for 50 yards.
Leon Washington had a non-descript performance on kick and punt returns.
Jason Trusnick made a pair of tackles on kickoff returns.
