A win-win situation - Coles signs with Cinci

Former Jets WR Laveranues Coles agreed in principle to a 4-year, $28 million deal with the Cincinnati Bengals, and this saves the Jets about $6 million against the cap.

Coles was so confident that he would be able to top his Jets' contract which called for $6 million for one-year, that he was willing to give Gang Green the money back, and become a free agent.

The risk worked out with the announcement of his deal with the Bengals.

Carson Palmer and Laveranues Coles should do some wonderful work together in the 2009 season.
