Stafford workout and Wonderlic outstanding

If the Detroit Lions don't pick Georgia quarterback Matthew Stafford with the first pick of the draft, they might be making a huge mistake.

Not only did he have a great Pro Day in Athens this week, but it came out recently that he scored a 38 on the Wonderlic. That is a great score.

So not only does he have a great arm and can make all the throws, but he's extremely intelligent.

And you need to be really, really bright to play QB in the NFL. It's a exceedingly hard job. Not for those of average intelligence.

Stafford's Wonderlic, along with his physical skills, make him worthy of the first pick overall.
