Horrific collision at mini-camp

I have been covering the Jets for over 10 years, and this is the worst collision I have ever seen in a practice.

LB Kenwin Cummings and WR Wallace Wright collided at full speed.

The field was split in half. There were two different drills running at the same time. Wright was running a deep route in one direction and Cummings was covering RB Jehuu Caulcrick going in the other direction. Cummings and Wright were both looking back towards the respective quarterbacks throwing the ball in each drill, and ran into each other full throttle.

The were both down for several minutes. Cummings didn't seem to suffer any particular injury aside from a probable concussion. Wright was woozy and also holding his knee.

We will have more details later.
