Jets trade for Sanchez

The acquired the fifth pick of the 2009 draft from Cleveland in exchange for their first and second round picks along with DE Kenyon Coleman, S Abram Elam and QB Brett Ratliff. And with the fifth pick the Jets selected USC QB Mark Sanchez.

This could turn out to be a steal for the Jets, but it would probably be in their best interest to sit him this year and start Kellen Clemens.

Sanchez has a big upside, but he only started 16 college games, and came out after his junior year. If the Jets start him at the beginning of the season, it probably won't go well. But down the road it could go great.
