Jets OTA notes

Jets notes from Thursday's mini-camp in Florham Park -

Kerry Rhodes spoke to the media, but didn't say much about the supposed incident at his Morristown home. He repeatedly said it's a legal issue and he's not allowed to talk about it, but seemed to be in good spirits.

"It's a pending legal matter and I can't really talk about it right now," said Rhodes . . .

Thomas Jones looked good in practice. He is a workout warrior who clearly has kept himself in great shape during his off-season holdout.

"He looks the part," said Rex Ryan.

But it's unclear if Jones is still ticked off about his contract.

"Is he happy with everything – you will have to ask Thomas that," said Ryan.

Jones didn't speak to the media on Thursday . . .

Rex Ryan had high praise for Chansi Stuckey on Thursday.

"Stuckey seems to make plays all the time," said Ryan about Stuckey, who seems to have locked down the starting job opposite Jerricho Cotchery . . .

The Jets under the defensive guidance of Ryan and Mike Pettine should have some tremendous game plans. We all know how smart Ryan is, but Pettine isn't far behind.
