Ellis sued over landscaping bill

Kieran Crowley of the New York Post reports that Shaun Ellis has been sued by his former landscaper.

"A landscaper said the multimillion-dollar defensive end stiffed him on $85,000 worth of lawn, garden and patio work at Ellis' $2.5 million Long Island mansion, according to a lawsuit," wrote Crowley.

"The Gang Green star and his wife tried to get landscaper Michael Brown to discount work at Ellis' Melville estate and then refused to pay for most of the project, which took 2½ months, the landscaper claims.

"But Ellis' lawyer, Brian Davis, said Brown's claims 'are not true.' Brown bungled the job and the couple had to hire another landscaper to fix the problems."
