Jets Might Release Robinson

The Newark Star ledger reported that a source "with knowledge of the club's thinking", told the paper that free safety Damien Robinson will be released.

Robinson has spent the last two seasons with the Jets and has made his share of negative headlines on and off the field. The source was quoted as saying of Robinson, "Enough is enough."

Robinson had 95 tackles and two interceptions this season, and has been criticized all season long for giving up big plays. With the emergence of rookie safety Jon McGraw and the decision to move cornerback Jamie Henderson to safety, Robinson may have become expendable.
