I'm a bit speechless and numb right now. The man who introduced me to the world of sports web sites, thus responsible for LIONSFANS.com, this message board, RoarReport.com and the entire NFL network on Scout.com, was killed tragically in California today. I hope to write a column soon, but please know that without him, The Den would likely not exist as it does today. Likely not at all.
I lost my very, very best friend 3 days before Christmas in a tragic accident. He was like a brother to me.
I knew him the last 25 years and we went to college together, worked together, chased women together, and played sports together.
I don't think I will ever get over his passing. I think about him every single day. My life hasn't felt the same since he passed and I miss him immensely. So, I know and share the pain of losing a close friend. It sucks…..
Truly tragic, sorry for the loss. Prayers go out to his friends and family, RIP Stephan
Its tough to deal with losing a loved one/friend you just have to remember to not morn their loss but celebrate their life. I lost my girlfriend in an accident late January, still havent gotten over it but you just have to remember the good. Sorry again for your loss dude sadly a few of us can relate having dealt with the same which is unfortunate. Be strong bud
WOW, just got home...out of town working all week, and to see this at the top of the board just brings a little reminder to all of us. As much as we may fight, bicker, and belittle one another here over a football team, there are more important things. Best wishes to his family.
