Mike Fowler - Lions Insider (5-4)
(Last Week: Mike predicted a Detroit victory, 12-9 -- actual score was 12-10. Nice job, Mike!)

Well, I'm on a two game losing streak, while the Lions have won two in a row. I swear to you this is just a coincidence! Yeah, right. Before the Lions were a safe bet to lose any game, but now they are a team with momentum that is showing the tenacity and desire of last year's team, and that's a good thing. However, the Lions aren't playing at home, which gives them about no chance to win. Seattle is no pushover, in fact they are one of the best teams talent wise in the whole league. No way Detroit wins, lets just hope they dont run up the score.
PICK: Seattle 31 -- Detroit 6

The Seahawks vaunted defense meets arguably the worst offense in the league this week. This isn't the Bears, and the Lions won't win this game with all their points coming from Jason Hanson. Shaun Alexander will be a big factor in this game. He's the closest thing to Ahman Green they've seen, and he was huge in their meeting with the Packers. Alexander can catch the ball and run between the tackles or bounce outside. Not only will that leave the defense out of time and out of breath, it will leave Mariucci wishing he had a back like that as Bryson or Gary run for 3 yards on route to many three and outs. The draft can't come soon enough, eh Mooch?
PICK: Seattle 24 -- Detroit 13

The Seattle Seahawks are a perfect 5-0 at home this season. They are leading the NFC West division and are considered one of the best teams in the conference. They also have a much faster team than the Lions on both sides of the ball. I could go with the "Joey Harrington returns to his ole' stomping grounds and tears it up" pick, but I'm going to play it safe. Besides, Joey could tear it up all he wants, if no one can catch his passes, it won't matter.
PICK: Seahawks 20 -- Lions 13

Hate to say I told you so ... While the Lions certainly didn't embrass Chicago (unless you're a Bears fan), they racked up their second-consecutive win and roll into Seattle riding high. The only concern here is Seattle's outdoor stadium. The Lions traditionally don't play well without a roof, but Oregon-native Joey Harrington is acclimated to the weather. Several times the Lions got their way into scoring territory against the Bears, and several times they came away with a field goal or less. Expect those miscues to be corrected, and third consecutive Lions' victory. PS - The 20-game road losing streak is snapped!
PICK: Detroit 24 -- Seattle 20
