Williams (5-10, 186), a fourth-year pro, played for the Seattle Seahawks from 2000-2002 and was released on August 25, 2003. He was selected in the sixth round (175 overall) by the Seahawks in the 2000 NFL Draft out of Marshall University. In 29 games (four starts) Williams has tallied 410 yards on 29 receptions, including a career-high four catches for 101 yards against the San Diego Chargers on December 30, 2001.
During his career, Williams has recorded 33 kickoff returns for 605 yards (18.3 avg.).
At Marshall, Williams was a first-team All-Mid American Conference selection after catching 47 passes for 880 yards and 13 touchdowns his senior year. He also returned 15 kickoffs for a 32.9-yard average and had three 100-yard receiving games. The Vicksburg, Miss., native also starred on Marshall's track team where he earned MVP honors during his junior year.
