Lions Dismiss Three Coaches

The Detroit Lions have ridded of three from their coaching staff.

As expected, coaching changes have begun in Detroit.

On Tuesday, the team announced it had terminated the contracts of wide receivers' coach Bobby Williams and defensive line coach George Dyer. Offensive line coach Carl Mauck, who has spent the last three seasons with the Lions, will not have his contract renewed.

All three coaches were hired under the Marty Mornhinweg regime

The Lions are eying several candidates, but have yet to name anyone. It's possible that they also aren't finished with the changes. It is rumored that the Lions may attempt to replace defensive coordinator Kurt Schottenheimer, and possibly more.
