Harrington Has Surprise For Siragusa

(ALLEN PARK) -- The production meeting between the Lions players and the Fox broadcast crew might be one of the highlights of the weekend.

Tony Siragusa, who was critical of quarterback Joey Harrington's style during the Lions' 30-13 loss to Philadelphia on Sept. 26, is part of the Fox crew that will handle the game and presumably will meet with Harrington as part of its preparations.

Siragusa said his opinion of Harrington -- after the pre-Philadelphia production meeting -- was that he was a "champagne and caviar" and "strawberries and chocolate" type of football player.

Harrington fired back with a reference that the best part of Siragusa's career was when he had All-Pro linebacker Ray Lewis playing behind him.

So what's the next in the Siragusa-Harrington act?

Harrington suggested Wednesday he might have a gift for Siragusa.

"He's going to get real bad beer or real bad champagne," Harrington said, laughing. "I haven't decided which way I want to go yet."
