Perhaps this is the way the Detroit Lions war room is making up to Matt Millen.
With their sixth-round draft pick, 175th overall, the Lions made Southern California Chris Cash their second cornerback drafted. On the first day of the draft, Detroit passed on Texas standout defensive back Quentin Jammer third-overall, a move that was apparently not decided by, nor agreed upon by team Vice President Matt Millen.
In the third-round, the Lions grabbed South Carolina prospect Andre Goodman.
Cash, like Goodman, is also coming off a knee injury. The very athletic USC standout enjoyed a solid senior season last year before fracturing his right kneecap in November. He is expected to make a full-recovery.
