Injury News & Notes:
What was thought to be just a pull, wide receiver Bill Schroeder's hamstring has been found to have a small tear. Despite an injury that normally keeps players out for a stretch of weeks, Schroeder practiced in pads this week. Lions' head coach Marty Mornhinweg was quoted as to saying despite him doing well with his injury, Schroeder "has a long way to go."
Second-year defensive tackle Shaun Rogers will continue to play with a soft cast wrap on his hand. The size of the wrap will get smaller and smaller throughout the season.
Wide receiver Germane Crowell could actually play in this game. Although it would be in a small role, reports are saying that he could play in this game especially if Schroeder and tight end Mikhael Ricks, key players in the offense aren't able to play. Crowell just came off the PUP list last week. If he isn't activated within the next two weeks, he'll be lost for the year.
With injuries devastating the LB corps, Donte` Curry will play on the strong side.
