Charles Woodson Profile
The always-eloquent Charles Woodson was asked about his outlook on football after the suicides of Junior Seau and Dave Duerson. "It's something I guess you can't really deny, you can't look past it any longer. If you're a fan of football, you know there's some players that have taken their lives as a result of head injuries, and you might not know who they are. But when a Junior Seau takes his life, and there's speculation that it could be football-related, I don't want to say that it is or isn't, because I don't know the facts of that. But there's that possibility. You think about it. Myself, I've been playing this game a long time, it's my 14th year in the NFL, going into my 15th. Three years of college, high school, middle school. I've taken a lot of hits, and you don't know how those hits have compounded over the years to affect you later on in life. It's something, you think about it. I can't take it back now, because I'm at this stage in my career. But it's something that you do think about and hopefully, it's something that I won't have to worry about."
