Green Bay Packers Profile
The Green Bay Packers game against the Washington Redskins on Sunday, Sept. 15, is the annual alumni game and will feature halftime introductions of 30 players from the Packers' 1965, 1966 and 1967 championship teams.
Members of the championship teams scheduled to be in attendance include Bill Anderson, Donny Anderson, Ken Bowman, Zeke Bratkowski, Tom Brown, Dick Capp, Bill Curry, Carroll Dale, Willie Davis, Boyd Dowler, Jim Flanigan, Marv Fleming, Jim Grabowski, Doug Hart, Dave Hathcock, Don Horn, Paul Hornung, Jerry Kramer, Bob Long, William Mack, Chuck Mercein, Dave Robinson, Bob Skoronski, Bart Starr, Fred Thurston, Phil Vandersea, James Weatherwax, Ben Wilson and Steve Wright.
The alumni will take the field and serve in Sunday's Ambassador Line during pregame festivities, and then be introduced from the field during halftime. Other Packers alumni will be in town as well, and be on the sidelines during the game.
Also, two alumni, Jim Flanigan Jr. and Frank Winters, are scheduled to make appearances throughout the weekend at various locations, per home game custom.
On Saturday, Flanigan and Winters will be visiting with fans and signing autographs in the Packers Pro Shop from 2:30 to 4 p.m. On gameday, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Winters will be visiting with fans and signing autographs in the Tundra Tailgate Zone. More information on the Tundra Tailgate Zone can be found online at packers.com/gameday/tundra-tailgate-zone.html.
— The Packers' annual Coats for Kids collection will also take place in the Lambeau Field parking lot beginning at 8 a.m. Sunday. Fans attending the game will have the opportunity to donate new and gently used coats for distribution to needy children through the Salvation Army. Cash donations will be accepted as well.
— Prior to kickoff, the Shopko Fanoramic camera will take a 360-degree, high-definition photo of fans in the stadium. This exciting fan feature, which has been popular at previous games, allows fans to identify themselves using an optic-zoom and tagging feature.
Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 11:30 a.m., because shortly after that time the ultra-high-definition image will be taken from the 50-yard line. This photo will capture Lambeau Field in its entirety, and the image takes between 5-7 minutes to shoot. The resolution of the photo will be so high that fans will be able to visit Packers.com/shopkofanoramic, zoom in to find themselves or friends, "tag" themselves with a Shopko logo, and share via email, Facebook and Twitter.
— Members of the brass and percussion sections of the Green Bay Symphony Orchestra will be performing the national anthem in celebration of their 100th anniversary. The Aeroshell Aerobatic Team will perform a flyover following the anthem.
