The Packers open the exhibition season on Monday Night Football against the Kansas City Chiefs in the annual Hall of Fame game at Canton, Ohio, on Aug. 4. That game will be followed by a pair of back-to-back road engagements for the Packers – Aug. 9 at Atlanta and Aug. 15 at Cleveland. This will mark the fourth straight year that the Packers and Browns have met in the preseason.
Two of Green Bay's five exhibition games will be on national television. The Aug. 4 game is on ABC and the Aug. 15 game is on CBS. The Atlanta, Carolina and Tennessee contests will be televised by Green Bay's WFRV-TV in conjunction with Milwaukee's WTMJ-TV over an expanded, eight-station network throughout the state of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan. In addition to WFRV and WTMJ, the games will be televised over WKOW/ABC, Madison, Wis.; WAOW/ABC, Wausau/Rhinelander, Wis.; WXOW/ABC, La Crosse, Wis.; WQOW/ABC, Eau Claire, Wis.; WYOW/ABC, Eagle River, Wis.; and WJMN/CBS, Marquette, Mich.
All five exhibition games begin at 7 p.m. CT.
The 54th annual Midwest Shrine Game is Aug. 23 and the 42nd annual Bishop's Charities Game is Aug. 28.
