PackerReport.com takes a look at the players scheduled to visit Green Bay this week. Today: Washington State cornerback Marcus Trufant.

An awesome show at the combine lit a fire under Trufant's draft stock, so this Cougar CB may have already rocketed past the Pack's pick. Both parties decided it was worth the time and trip, and Trufant was on the schedule of workouts in Green Bay.

The 6-0, 190-pound Trufant is ranked as the No.2 corner in this year's draft class, behind Terrance Newman of Kansas State.
Trufant gained a reputation as one of the most consistent shut down cornerbacks in all of college football throughout his career. Trufant is a terrific defender that covers the pass, defends the run and impacts the game returning punts.
How high has his stock risen? ESPN draft guru Mel Kiper recently upgraded Trufant to the ninth overall pick following the Tacoma native's stellar work at both the Senior Bowl and NFL Combine. A WSU assistant coach predicted Trufant would go at No. 5.
